No! Pilates is designed to meet you where you are. Many people start Pilates to build strength, improve mobility, or ease back into movement.
What can I expect during my first class and afterwards?
Expect a welcoming, supportive environment where instructors guide you through movement, breathing, and proper form. Afterwards you may feel muscles you don’t normally use, but soreness is usually manageable and improves as your body adapts.
What if I have injuries or limitations?
Please let your instructor know before class. Exercises can often be modified to accommodate injuries or mobility concerns.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable workout clothes you can move in. Grip socks are recommended for safety and required for hot Pilates classes.
